The public is invited to the opening day ceremony

Do you love Pickleball? It is sweeping the world, after all. It even has a professional league now.

If you do, there is great news out of Cookeville. The Cookeville Leisure Services Department has announced the grand opening of the brand-new Cane Creek Pickleball Court complex.

Cookeville Mayor Laurin Wheaton says the public is invited to a ribbon cutting to celebrate the court’s grand opening.

“Join us on Tuesday, October 28 at 11 a.m. as we cut the ribbon on our newest facility,” said Wheaton in a statement. “The public is invited to attend, and the courts will be open for play immediately following the ceremony.”

The complex has 8 courts and is located at 180 CC Camp Road next to the Cane Creek Recreation Center and Gymnasium. For more information, visit HERE.
