Number up from 46 new businesses licensed either new or continued last month
April business licenses in Putnam County totaled 58 (41 manufacturing and 17 retail), up from 46 new businesses licensed either new or continued (34 manufacturing, 12 retail) in March, according to numbers by Putnam County Clerk Wayne Nabors.
The March number shrank from the 65 businesses licensed in Feb.

One year ago, April, 47 new businesses were licensed in Putnam County (43 new retail businesses licensed, along with four manufacturing/services businesses).
