MDRT membership represents the top life insurance and financial service professionals worldwide

Cookeville ­– Andrea V. Burckhard, an agent for New York Life in Cookeville, earned membership in the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) for 2023. MDRT, the Premier Association of Financial Professionals®, is a global, independent association of more than 66,000 of the world’s leading life insurance and financial services professionals from more than 500 companies in 72 nations and territories.

“Achieving membership in MDRT is a distinguishing life insurance career milestone, attained only by those who have demonstrated superior professional knowledge, experience, sales excellence and client service,” said New York Life in a release.

MDRT membership represents the top life insurance and financial service professionals worldwide, according to the release. MDRT is an international, independent association of the world’s best life insurance and financial services professionals. 

This is the 65th consecutive year that New York Life has dominated the MDRT in the United States.

Burckhard lived in Brussels Belgium from 1986 to 1999, where she began her career in sales and marketing throughout Europe in the office equipment and supplies industry and set up successful distribution channels in 35 countries. She returned to the U.S in 1999 to “take a short sabbatical” before beginning a new chapter in her life after meeting her husband, Terry. They had twin sons, Grant and Blake.

Burckhard then took a position as the Executive Director of the Byrdstown-Pickett County Chamber of Commerce.

“In 2007, she decided it was time to use her business, professional and communications skills with New York Life to assist business owners, professionals and employers to protect their families and businesses as well as to offer strategies to build and protect wealth,” according to the release. “Mrs. Burkhard has been very successful in the past 15 years with New York Life, and as a detached Agent has been able to successfully build her market in rural and middle Tennessee.”
