Festivalgoers will enjoy an afternoon filled with local flavor and community spirit
On Oct. 25, WCTE PBS’s Blues & Brews Craft Beer Festival is returning to Cookeville.
This time, it will take place at Trackside on the WestSide in downtown Cookeville. In what has become one of the most anticipated fall traditions, the annual event brings together craft beer enthusiasts, local food vendors and live music, all in support of public television across the Upper Cumberland.

“Festivalgoers will enjoy an afternoon filled with local flavor and community spirit, featuring live blues from the Mark Anthony Band, food-truck favorites, and tastings from breweries across Tennessee and beyond,” according to a release by WCTE.
Local breweries attending this year include:
- Tennessee Brew Works
- Red Silo
- Calfkiller Brewing
- Black Abbey
- Gatlinburg Brewing Company
- Cid Chics Cider
- Lakefront Brewing from Wisconsin
- several nonalcoholic beverage brands.
- and more
Guest will have the option to try over 65+ beer brands, including some home brewers, “giving guests the chance to learn more about the craft of brewing and explore WCTE PBS’s mission of lifelong learning in a fun, relaxed setting.”
Exclusive access to a hospitality tent will be available to VIP ticket holders.
The VIP hospitality tent will feature Chef Ernie Valdez tastings from local restaurants including:
- Buffalo Wild Wings
- Five Guys
- Outback Steakhouse
- Rey’s Mexican Grill
- Carved + Crafted Catering
- Logan’s Roadhouse
- AMC Theatres
- Hooligan Half Irish Pub
- Texas Roadhouse
- Chili’s
- Rib City
- Drake’s
- Cheddar’s
- Food Lion
- Publix
Several food trucks will be a part of the festival as well, including Rolling Spud, Whisked by Catherine, Brazen Q, Dawgito and Dave’s Burgers. Ticket holders will be eligible for prize drawings throughout the day and special beer pairings at select tents, according to WCTE.
“The Blues & Brews Craft Beer Festival is made possible through the generous support of sponsors including DT McCall & Sons, The Baranowski Family, CLA, The Property Company, Pure Health Partners, Plenty Bookshop/Literary Libations and SBK Insurance, with additional support from The Eagle, Trackside, TriStar Beverage, Lamar and Go Advertising,” according to the release.
Those participating in the Haunted Half Marathon will be eligible for discounted admission to Blues & Brews.
