Blues & Brews fundraiser scheduled for Oct. 15

Cookeville – WCTE PBS Blues & Brews Craft Beer Festival is a fundraiser that supports WCTE PBS. All proceeds stay here in the Upper Cumberland and support lifelong learning and local storytelling.  The annual beer tasting event is scheduled for Saturday, October 15 from 12 p.m to 4 p.m. in Dogwood Park in Cookeville. There will be admission to a stein social at 11 a.m. for VIP ticket holders.

With a VIP ticket, guests will have exclusive access to individual beers, food from local restaurants and reserved seating all day. Table sponsorships are available in the VIP tent for groups of 10 and will include recognition as a Blues & Brews VIP sponsor.

Featured local breweries include Calfkiller, Hix Farm, Red Silo and more. A number of home brewers will be on hand sharing their brew concoctions while Budweiser and Cherokee distributing have partnered up again to bring a large variety of craft beers. Ticket holders will enjoy tasting over 100+ craft beers while listening to blues music from singer and guitarist Ping Rose of Nashville. Local food truck favorites West Coast Tacoz, The Swiftwich, Kevin’s Kitchen and more will be available for food purchase.

The iconic Blues & Brews branded shirts will be for sale at the event. Similar to last year, Blues & Brews will follow an open concept between beer vendors to maintain maximum airflow and enjoyment of Dogwood Park.

Advanced VIP tickets are available for $70.

General Admission tickets are available for $50. VIP Tickets will be $75 on the day of the event while general admission tickets will run $55. Tickets must be purchased online from ticket site.
