Expansion marks first U.S. location for company

Biederman, a company that produces grease cartridges, is expanding its manufacturing presence by locating its first U.S. facility in Rogersville.

Biederman will create 48 new jobs and invest $4.4 million in the Hawkins County facility, which will be updated to increase capacity, expand product offerings and enhance brand visibility while maintaining operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Founded in 1992, Biederman is a global grease cartridge manufacturer based in Ontario, Canada. Today, the company distributes its cartridges across the globe to hundreds of customers.

Since 2019, Canada is the state’s No. 1 partner for job creation through foreign direct investment (FDI) with Canadian companies investing more than $1.7 billion and creating more than 4,000 jobs statewide.
