Averitt honors Grade-A for 28 years of partnership

COOKEVILLE – Averitt Express recently honored Grada Casey (right), owner of Grade-A Catering, for 28 years of partnership. Casey is pictured with Averitt chairman and chief executive officer Gary Sasser (left).

Grade-A Catering was founded in 1990, and Averitt was one of its first customers. In the early years of its business, Grade-A would deliver lunch to new Averitt associates attending orientation when Averitt was located on Dacco Road. Today, Grade-A continues to cater lunch each week to new Averitt associates as they attend orientation at Averitt’s offices in the Food Lion complex on Spring Street. Grade-A also provides meals for many other Averitt events.

In addition to providing high-quality food to customers throughout the Upper Cumberland for 28 years, Casey has been honored during her career as a recipient of the Small Business Women’s Award and the Better Business Bureau Torch Award.
