COOKEVILLE – Permeable paver company Belgard recently hosted a permeable paver system stormwater management educational demonstration at Automation Tool Company.
Using Belgard’s previously installed Aqua-Bric Type IV pavers, a fire truck sprayed approximately 2,000 gallons of water onto the paver surface as attendees were able to get a firsthand-look at the water drainage benefits of the paver system. Additionally, Belgard cooked lunch for attendees in the Belgard Chicago Brick Oven.
Belgard, Automation Tool Company, Lauren Engineering, and the City of Cookeville all worked together on this project to be at the forefront of stormwater management using permeable pavers.
