Official opening marks the relocation in city from Three Star Mall to Nashville Highway site
Ascend Federal Credit Union, the largest credit union in Middle Tennessee, announced today the opening of its newest location in McMinnville.
Located at 3080 Nashville Highway, a Grand Opening ceremony was held at the new location October 16 to celebrate the branch’s official launch. The recently completed 3,500 square foot facility includes five-member service rooms, two interior and two drive-up Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs), a coin machine in the lobby and 24/7 ATM service.
There are also four Financial Services Officers, led by branch manager Amanda Blackburn, available at the branch to assist members.
“Ascend’s long-standing presence in McMinnville dates back to 2007 when we established our first location at Three Star Mall,” said Matt Jernigan, Ascend President and CEO. “We are so grateful for the trust of the local community and businesses that have been extremely supportive as we moved to this new financial center. Just as Warren County has continued to grow, so has our credit union and its continually expanding capabilities. As a result, we are excited to officially open our new branch location in this beautiful new building while continuing to provide the same exceptional level of financial service for our members.”
The branch location also offers a broad range of services, including checking, savings and youth accounts, as well as money market and certificate of deposit accounts.

The lobby’s hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Teller service hours for the two drive-up ITMs are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
