“His leadership helped strengthen the company’s industry reputation.” – TRC
Turner Roofing Company (TRC) was founded in 1961. William Turner started with a single tar kettle, five employees and “an unwavering commitment to quality.” That’s 64 years, and Jack Napier has been with the company for 50.
That’s longevity, dedication and service.
Napier, who graduated from Tennessee Tech University with a civil engineering degree in 1971, joined the Turner family business in 1975 after he and his wife, Mara, moved to Crossville.
“Since that time, Jack has played an essential role in Turner Roofing’s growth and success, bringing his expertise, leadership and steadfast dedication to quality craftsmanship …,” according to a release by the company.
Over the years, as the seasons passed, Napier served as president of the Tennessee Association of Roofing Contractors and on the Board of Directors for the National Roofing Contractors Association.
“His leadership helped strengthen the company’s industry reputation and foster professional excellence statewide,” according to the release.
After five decades, the company has thrived, and the third-generation, family-owned business employs 40 people in Cumberland County with a “commitment to safety, continuing education and first-rate workmanship.”
Today, Napier is living the dream of working alongside his two sons (and business partners), Jason and Clark Napier. The trio continues to uphold the company’s tradition of innovation and growth, according to TRC.
“Dad’s dedication and integrity set the tone for everything we do,” said Jason Napier. “His example continues to guide us as we build on his legacy of craftsmanship and service.”
Next year, Turner Roofing Co. will mark 65 years of serving customers across Middle and East Tennessee. How will the company celebrate?
The way it always has, of course. It will continue to strive for a legacy “of excellence, family values and commitment to quality that continues to inspire future generations.”
The elder Napier embodies that legacy.
As for the future generation? They could do worse than sit down with Jack and talk about the future.
