PUTNAM COUNTY – The Putnam County School System honored the 2022 Teachers of the Year at a luncheon on May 2 during National Teacher Appreciation Week.

Brian Webster, 2021 District Elementary Teacher of the Year; 2022 District Middle School Teacher of the Year Charity Bowie, Dr. Sharon Griggs, PCSS Instructional Supervisor 5-8th; and Corby King, PCSS Director of Schools.

“The Teacher of the Year luncheon is a wonderful day in the school year as we get to come together to honor and recognize the teachers chosen by their peers at each PCSS school,” said Corby King, Director of Schools. “Education has evolved quickly and even more so over the last two years. Their dedication and passion for education make a difference in their schools and the lives of our students. They are people who impact culture and lend a helping hand to those around them.
