Carlen Chevrolet Has Served Generations Of Upper Cumberland Customers Since 1926

Carlen Chevrolet, located at 330 W. Spring St. in Cookeville, has broken that mold and recently celebrated the milestone with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and celebration with an event supported by EverScene Studios.
“Today we had the privilege of celebrating something you do not see every day. One hundred years of Carlen Chevrolet,” according to the Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce.
Carlen has been family-owned and operated for three generations. Opening in 1926, the dealership holds the distinction of being the oldest General Motors dealership in Tennessee.
