WCTE to broadcast upcoming TTU basketball games

COOKEVILLE – WCTE Upper Cumberland PBS will be broadcasting three upcoming Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles doubleheader basketball games. The games will be Thursday, Jan. 23 against the Morehead State Eagles; Saturday, Jan. 25 against the Eastern Kentucky Colonels and Saturday, Feb. 1versus the Tennessee State Tigers.The women’s games will start at 5:30 p.m. and the men’s games will start at 7:30 p.m.

Tennessee Tech women’s basketball rallied to defeat the Murray State Racers this past Saturday evening inside the Hooper Eblen Center. The milestone win served as coach Kim Rosamond’s 50th career win as a head coach. 

John Pelphrey, Tennessee Tech men’s basketball head coach, has amassed a couple of wins since the season started but continues to mold his team in his first year with the Golden Eagles.

“WCTE PBS is heading back to our home away from home to shoot three doubleheaders with a talented production crew and on-air commentators including Steve Smith, Mindy Odom, Mark Odom, and Michael Cooper,” said Brent Clark, WCTE’s director of content & digital media.
