WCTE recipient of ‘Drive for a Cause’ proceeds

COOKEVILLE – Ford Lincoln of Cookeville hosted the 2ndAnnual Drive for a Cause Golf TournamentJuly 21 at Southern Hills Golf Course, benefiting WCTE Upper Cumberland PBS.

Each year, Ford Lincoln of Cookeville donates the proceeds from this fundraiser to a local organization of its choice and this year, WCTE was the recipient of more than $7,000. According to Brandon Farley of Ford Lincoln of Cookeville, they choose to partner with local organizations that make a positive impact on the community.

“We would like to thank everyone for the overwhelming support they provided our annual golf tournament with proceeds benefiting our local PBS station, WCTE,” said Farley. “We would also like to thank WCTE’s staff for volunteering to help make this year’s event a success.

“It is so gratifying to see the community rally around and support WCTE, a local organization that has been a pillar in our region for many years. We are very thankful for our partnership with the station and look forward to working with them on future events to better our community.”
