UPPER CUMBERLAND – If you miss the good ole days then you have to go to Celina for Homecoming Days and get a taste of the past. There’s also lots of music and movies and even a fair or two to experience. For a complete list of events statewide, visit tnvacation.com/calendar.

Aug. 1-3

Celina – Come out for Homecoming Days at the Clay County Museum of History. There are events every day from cakewalks to an antique tractor show. This event includes craft and art booths, all types of food booths and live music each night. To get other information, contact the Museum at 931-243-4220 or Mary Loyd Reneau at 256-509-1812.

Aug. 2

Cookeville – Enjoy the Smoky Nights Live at Char from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Cookeville – Come and hang out for Sadie & Seth LIVE @37 Cedar starting from 9 p.m. – midnight.

Cookeville – Red Silo welcomes back The Lovers from8 – 10 p.m.

Crossville – Parker Pressley performs live “In the House” 6-9 p.m. during the singer-songwriter show at GrinderHouse Coffee Shop. Pressley was the 2014 New Horizon Entertainer of the Year Award for the North American Country Music Association International.

Crossville – Tim Atwood @ Spike’s Grille! from 6 – 10 p.m. For information call 931-202-2989.

Fairfield Glade – Enjoy a free movie on the Square in Fairfield Glade. Mary Poppins Returns will be showing at 8 p.m.

Livingston– The Central Park @ Dark Summer Movie Series presents Bumblebee. Movie starts at dark. Free admission and cotton candy. Bring your chair/blanket and enjoy!

Crossville – Red, White & Tuna starring Smoke on the Mountain’s Jason Ross and Patty Payne. The denizens of Tuna, Texas are back in this sequel to mega-hit Greater Tuna. Take a hilarious ride into the hearts and minds of the polyester-clad citizens of Texas’ third smallest town with this side-splitting spoof of life in rural America. Crossville – Junie B. Jones, The Musical is A delightful adaptation of four of Barbara Park’s best-selling books, brought to life in a genuinely comical (and not strictly-for-kids) musical. Crossville – Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is the irresistible family musical about the trials and triumphs of Israel’s favorite son.
