Saint Thomas opens McMinnville care site, welcomes new doc

MCMINNVILLE – Saint Thomas Medical Partners has opened a new care site for primary care in McMinnville, Tenn., and is proud to welcome Dr. Alma Tamula, M.D., as a new primary care physician partner. The newest primary care site is located at 1580 Sparta St., Ste. 107.

Dr. Tamula is board certified in family medicine and graduated Cum Laude with an A.B. in Humanities from the University of the Philippines before earning her medical degree at University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center. She was one of the chief residents during her time in the Family Medicine Residency Program at Howard University Hospital in Washington D.C.

Dr. Tamula enjoys taking care of families for all their primary care needs and especially enjoys treating the geriatric population. She enjoys cooking and baking, window shopping and spending time with her family

The newest location in McMinnville offers primary care serving all ages, and patients can schedule appointments online.  The hours are 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday with anticipation for extended hours in the future.
