Restaurant Week – Dine out to help local patients

COOKEVILLE – Get ready for some great food and unique specials because it is Restaurant Week in the region. Restaurant Week highlights the culinary talents at local restaurants. By dining at one of the participating local restaurants May 5-11, not only does your money support those local businesses, but it will help patients in our region who have had a life-changing medical event.

Participating restaurants include: 37 Cedar, Backroom Bistro, Big Tony’s Pizzeria, Blue Rooster Canteen, Char, Crawdaddy’s, Father Tom’s Pub, Foglight Foodhouse, Mamma Rosa’s, Nick’s, Persis Indian Grill, Rib City, Seven Senses, Southern Rock Bouncin’ BBQ, Spankies, The Blue Pig and World Foods.

Restaurant Week is sponsored by IWC and supports the Patient Assistance Funds at Cookeville Regional Charitable Foundation. One hundred percent of the funds raised through Restaurant Week will be used to assist local patients struggling with disease, sickness or injury.

“IWC is proud to sponsor Restaurant Week again this year,” said Bob Mackie, IWC president. “It is really a great way for local business to support local needs. The patients being helped live here, and partnering restaurants are all right here in our community.”
