Rapid response team to assist Jamestown hospital employees

JAMESTOWN – The Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development is sending a rapid response team to assist the workers affected by the “temporary” closure of Jamestown Regional Medical Center. The rapid response team event will take place at the Fentress County Courthouse on Friday, June 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Rapid Response team helps employees during layoffs by providing information about retraining, job opportunities, unemployment insurance benefits as well as local, state, and federal services. All workers needing unemployment assistance need to bring wage statements from 2018 and the most recent pay stub.
