Averitt’s sales VP named NASSTRAC Associate Member of the Year

Rogers Luna recognized by association for his dedication to the transportation industry

COOKEVILLE – Rogers Luna, vice president of sales for Averitt Express, was named the recipient of the 2012 National Shippers Strategic Transportation Council “Associate Member of the Year.”

Each year, the association presents this award to an individual from the service provider community who has shown leadership, continued commitment to the industry, and support of the association. This marks the first time an Averitt associate has received the award.

“Rogers epitomizes what we need from every provider that’s involved,” said NASSTRAC president Doug Easley. “He consistently participates in NASSTRAC conferences and regional events, he has ensured his company consistently supports the association, and he has worked to get new shippers engaged. We rely on active members like Rogers who help to successfully build NASSTRAC into a community of shippers and providers in the transportation industry.”
