Hip Cookeville Concert Series announced

COOKEVILLE – Hip Cookeville is proud to announce the first Hip Cookeville Concert Series featuring shows by several popular tribute bands.  

Hip Cookeville received so much gratitude from the community for bringing Forever Abbey Road: A Beatles Experience to town in September 2018 that they are presenting four more high quality Tribute shows at the Cookeville Performing Arts Center (CPAC) in 2019.

“We are excited to bring this quality of music and artists to Cookeville for our community to enjoy,” said Blair Dudley, CEO of Hip Cookeville. “There is no need to drive long distances in terrible traffic and pay high parking and ticket prices when we can bring these shows to your back door.” 

The series will kick off withSail On: The Beach Boys Tribute on March 30, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. Sail On: The Beach Boys Tribute focuses on performing songs by America’s Band, The Beach Boys, to sheer perfection. Members of Sail On have performed with musicians from Brian Wilson’s band, The Zombies, Earth Wind and Fire, Cheap Trick, Mark Lindsay and produced recordings for Micky Dolenz.

The second show in the series, Faithfully: A Journey/Eagles Tribute will pay homage to two of America’s greatest bands with a high energy show on June 29, 2019. Tickets are available here.

The third show in the series, Forever Abbey Road: A Beatles Experience will be returning for what will likely be another sold out performance on July 19, as they celebrate the 50thAnniversary of the Forever Abbey Road Album by performing it in its entirety during their first set followed by a second set of Beatles hits. Tickets are available here.

The series will wrap up with a fourth show with an artist yet to be announced on September 20. Details will be forthcoming on this show.
