More than 100 positions to be available during Goodwill-hosted hiring event
COOKEVILLE –The Goodwill Career Solutions center at 565 S. Jefferson Ave. in Cookeville will host a job fair from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Tuesday,Oct. 8, for 12 employers seeking to fill more than 100 positions in Putnam, White and surrounding counties.
Employers include APEX, H&R Block, Taco Bell, Randstad at Ficosa, Home Instead Senior Care, Excel Temporary Service, Candlewood Suites, ABM, Pacesetters, Bledsoe County Correctional Complex, UCHRA (STAR Program) and Goodwill.
Openings include marketing consultant, customer service representative, retail associate, food preparation, general labor, entry-level welding, maintenance, die-casting, paint operator, molding operator, assembly, corrections officerand other positions. Rates of pay reach $15.63 per hour.
Representatives from these companies will be on-site and interviews are possible, so job-seekers should dress for success. Job candidates are encouraged to bring a resume, photo ID and their Social Security card or birth certificate.
