Three-hour sessions prepare students for warehousing, manufacturing positions
COOKEVILLE —The Goodwill Career Solutions center at 565 S. Jefferson Ave. in Cookeville is now offering a three-hour forklift training program on the third Monday of every month.
The instructor-led program involves hands-on training using a forklift and OSHA-approved materials. Students who complete the program receive a certificate valid for three years and will learn a skill that is in demand by the warehousing and manufacturing industries.
The inaugural class is scheduled for 8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. on Monday, March 18. Those interested in registering may call (931) 520-8789 or email training@givegw.org. A $100 registration fee is required.
