Goodwill Career Solutions to host job fair

At Least 50 Positions To Be Available During Goodwill-Hosted Hiring Event

COOKEVILLE — The Goodwill Career Solutions center at 565 S. Jefferson Ave. in Cookeville will host a job fair from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 14, for four employers seeking to fill at least 50 positions in Putnam and White counties.

Employers include Bledsoe County Correctional Complex, Signature Healthcare of Putnam County, Silver Angels and @WORK Cumberland Staffing. Openings include corrections officers, home care aides, laundry, housekeeping, certified nursing assistant, licensed practical nurse, light industrial and other positions. Rates of pay reach $15 per hour.

Representatives from these companies will be on-site and interviews are possible, so job-seekers should dress for success. Job candidates are encouraged to bring a resume, photo ID and their Social Security card or birth certificate.
