COOKEVILLE – Bojangles’, the fast-food restaurant chain known for its Southern-style chicken and biscuits, will open its newest Tennessee location in Cookeville at 1033 S. Willow Ave., Saturday, June 27.

Standing at more than 3,800 square-feet, the company-owned eatery will create approximately 65 new jobs, seat more than 75 guests and serve all of the chain’s signature menu items – including Bojangles’ famous breakfast – from 5 a.m.-10 p.m. seven days a week.

“We are very excited about the growth we are currently experiencing in the state of Tennessee,” Bojangles’ Regional Vice President Dion Firooznia said in a release. “Our newest restaurant in Cookeville has generated a lot of excitement in the community, and we expect it to do well.”

The UCBJ first announced Bojangles’ plans in Cookeville in April. The Cookeville location is the third in the Upper Cumberland since 2013. There is Bojangles’ at 2801 N. Main St. in Crossville and 681 Roosevelt Drive in Sparta. Overall, Bojangles’ has 258 company-operated and 377 franchised restaurants, primarily in the Southeast.

The new Cookeville restaurant will kick off its grand opening at 5 a.m. with product giveaways throughout the day. Guests can also enter to win a Bojangles’ breakfast combo every week for a full 52 weeks.
