Community yoga to benefit Imagination Library

Community Yoga Benefits Imagination Library June 4

Synergy Mind & Body Studio will hold Community Classes on Sunday, June 4, with all proceeds going to the Putnam County Imagination Library program.  On Synergy’s monthly Community Day, class attendees pay what they can, with 100% of the proceeds going to a specified charity.  On June 4, Registered Yoga Teacher, Nicole Pugh, will teach Community Yoga at 2:00 p.m.  Dawn Thierry will teach a Meditation class at 3:15 p.m.  Synergy community classes are open to the public and are completely donation-based.

Putnam County Imagination Library (PCIL), in partnership with Governor’s Books from Birth Foundation (GBBF) and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, provides free books to children. All children in Putnam County from birth to age five are eligible to receive books at no cost to families. The program helps build a foundation for reading and learning through books. Providing books in the home is a unique opportunity for family engagement, vocabulary and reading skills development. We are preparing children for lifelong learning through reading.
