COOKEVILLE – The pending sale of Cumberland River Hospital (CRH) will not be on tonight’s Cookeville city council agenda as previously reported.

Officials at CRMC reported that although things are moving along with CRH, the documents weren’t completely ready to be presented to the city council for their final approval.

UCBJ spoke with Bob Duncan, CRMC board chair, who stated that there was nothing at this time that indicated that the deal would not go through.

“We plan it will go to the city council on Aug.1,” said Duncan. “If there’s any updates, we’ll cover them in our (CRMC’s) board meeting next week.”
