COOKEVILLE – The Cookeville Regional Medical Center Foundation is hosting “A Woman’s Heart” on Thursday, Jan. 30 from 5-8 p.m. at the Leslie Town Centre, 1 W. 1st St. in Cookeville. A Woman’s Heart is the primary fundraiser for the Foundation’s Heart Fund, which provides aid to dozens of local heart patients each year in the Upper Cumberland community.

The event will include heart-healthy dining, wine selections, a silent auction and a fashion show featuring showcases by Cigi’s, Side Stitch and Matilda Jane Clothing. Sponsored by Tennessee Heart, the event will feature a presentation by Dr. Ashley Nickerson, cardiologist, about heart and vascular health and conclude with the presentation of the prestigious Martin Coffey Cardiovascular Award.

The fashion show will highlight active ware, formal attire, casual ware and children’s clothing with all the up-to-date styles.

Tickets are on sale now for $40 each at www.CookevilleRegionalCharity.org or by calling 931-783-2003. All tickets are pre-sale only. No tickets will be available at the door.
