Free document shredding Apr. 21

COOKEVILLE – Millions of Americans have been the victims of identity-related fraud in recent years.

The Better Business Bureau and Sentry Shred are inviting consumers and businesses to bring documents, up to 10 boxes per individual, to be shredded for free; documents such as credit card statements, old checks, IRS tax returns, and anything that a thief could use to steal one’s identity.

Secure Your ID Day will be held at the campus of Cookeville Regional Medical Center, in the Cancer Center parking lot, located at the corner of 6th and Cedar Avenue, Apr. 21 from 10 a.m. until the truck is full.
